How can you help? come to a few meetings find out where VETO is at and give us your input.

VETO meets at the Community Hall 49/65 Kenny Road Chambers Flat every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. VETO discusses what has happened over the last fortnight, plans ongoing action. If we're lucky,  a lady bakes biscuits to have with our coffee! Meetings commence at 7.00pm sharp and we usually finish before 9.00pm.

Donating your valuable time for a few hours per month is extremely cheap to convince Energex to change its proposed route, already a number of concessions have been made, recently (March 2010) another 3.5kms has been designated to go underground.

A reliable electricity supply is necessary. We all accept this as a given right.

What the members of  VETO  do not accept is that Environmental vandalism is necessary to achieve that aim.
